Stores Manager

Holy Innocents Children's Hospital (HICH) is a private, not-for-profit paediatric hospital founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Mbarara, providing holistic, quality healthcare to children. HICH is hiring a Stores Manager to run supply-chain operations, inventory control and distribution logistics for medical products and pharmaceuticals across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities - Track inventory of medical consumables, pharmaceuticals and equipment; manage stock levels to prevent shortages or excess - Inspect incoming shipments for damage, correct quantities and compliance with purchase orders - Supervise and schedule storekeepers, assistants and logistics staff - Fulfil requisitions from wards, laboratories and surgical theatres accurately and on time - Maintain detailed inventory ledgers and support audits - Enforce FIFO stock rotation and safety/storage protocols

Qualifications - Degree in Business Administration (Procurement) or Procurement and Supply Chain Management - At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a recognised institution
