Driver

Holy Innocents Children's Hospital (HICH) is a private, not-for-profit paediatric hospital founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Mbarara, providing holistic, quality healthcare to children. HICH is hiring a Driver to transport patients, staff and deliveries safely and on time, occasionally including nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities - Transport clients and packages efficiently between destinations, arriving on schedule - Plan routes and anticipate disruptions (traffic, construction, weather) using navigation apps - Support administrative tasks such as office pickups - Keep the vehicle fuelled, maintained and ready for use; coordinate repairs - Maintain accurate mileage and maintenance records - Maintain professionalism with clients and passengers at all times

Qualifications - Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) - Valid Class B driving licence and certificate in driving from a recognised institution - Certificate in defensive driving an added advantage - At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a recognised institution

Key Skills Advanced and defensive driving, knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols, basic vehicle maintenance, and strong customer service.
