Pharmacist

Holy Innocents Children's Hospital (HICH) is a private, not-for-profit paediatric hospital founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Mbarara, providing holistic, quality healthcare to children. HICH is hiring a Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication according to physicians' prescriptions, advise on medicines and equipment, and complete medication reviews.

Key Responsibilities - Measure, package and label medication accurately per prescriptions and legal standards - Order stock, manage inventory, track expiry dates and prevent waste - Maintain accurate dispensing records and legally required registers - Ensure medications are stored correctly and pharmacy SOPs are followed - Advise patients clearly on how to take medication, side effects and storage - Answer routine patient and staff queries, escalating complex ones appropriately

Qualifications - Bachelor of Pharmacy - Licensed with the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda - At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a recognised institution

Key Skills Attention to detail, clear patient communication, strong organisational and numerical skills, pharmacy software proficiency, and teamwork.
