Lecturer (Anatomy)

Seeta University is inviting applications for the position of Lecturer (Anatomy) in a re-advertisement of positions for academic staff. This is a full-time academic role at the University's campus in Mbalala, Mukono.

About the role

The Lecturer (Anatomy) will deliver lectures and practical sessions in anatomy to students, guide student learning and assessment, contribute to curriculum development, and take on academic leadership responsibilities within the faculty. The role requires a strong background in the basic medical sciences, proven university teaching experience, and the ability to lead and mentor both students and junior staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold an earned PhD or be on a PhD track in a relevant discipline
• Master of Science in Anatomy or Surgery from a recognized institution
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized institution, with a minimum CGPA of 3.6
• Registered with UMDPC at the time of application
• Five (5) years of teaching experience at a recognized IHL
• Three (3) years of proven leadership experience at university level
