Enrolled Nurse (2 Positions) - Grace Family Health Centre

Grace Family Health Centre, located in Banda - Nakisunga, Mukono District, is looking for two dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurses to join our clinical team on a full-time basis. We are committed to providing safe, quality and patient-centred care to everyone who walks through our doors, and nurses are at the heart of that care.

About the role

The Enrolled Nurses will provide quality nursing care under the supervision of qualified nursing staff and in line with clinical standards. You will work closely with our clinical team to care for patients from the moment they arrive, monitoring their condition, administering treatment and keeping them comfortable and well informed throughout their stay. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role that suits a registered enrolled nurse who is reliable, kind and committed to doing the job well. Our patients come from Banda, Nakisunga and across Mukono District, and they rely on our nursing team to be attentive, calm and professional at every step. Whether you are helping with a routine check-up, supporting a procedure or simply sitting with a worried patient, your care will be noticed and appreciated.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor patients and provide routine nursing care
• Administer prescribed medicines and treatments
• Assist with procedures and patient examinations
• Record and report patient conditions and progress
• Maintain infection prevention, patient comfort and a safe clinical environment
• Support patients and their families with clear, caring communication
• Work under the supervision of qualified nursing staff in line with clinical standards

Qualifications and requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Enrolled Nursing or an equivalent qualification
• Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant nursing council
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, reliable and patient-focused
• Ability to work well within a team and follow clinical standards
• A professional attitude and respect for patient privacy and dignity
