Information Technology Officer

Holy Innocents Children's Hospital (HICH) is a private, not-for-profit paediatric hospital founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Mbarara, providing holistic, quality healthcare to children. HICH is hiring an Information Technology Officer to maintain the hospital's computer and network systems, installing, troubleshooting and supporting hardware, software and connectivity.

Key Responsibilities - Act as the hospital's primary IT support contact, responding to technical inquiries - Install, configure and maintain computing and networking hardware/software - Diagnose and repair complex hardware and software issues - Deploy and update antivirus and firewall protection for client and server systems - Maintain accurate technical documentation - Evaluate new hardware/software solutions before hospital-wide rollout

Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in Information Technology - At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a recognised institution

Key Skills Data management and backup, network administration, cybersecurity, and hands-on technical support.
