Hospital background Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital (MRRH) is a major public referral and teaching hospital in Mbarara City, Western Uganda. It is the principal referral centre for the western region and serves as the teaching hospital for the Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) Faculty of Medicine. Alongside its public services, the hospital operates a private wing offering specialised and timely care.

About the role The private wing at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill one (01) Physiotherapist post. The physiotherapist will assess and rehabilitate patients to restore movement, function and quality of life.

Key responsibilities - Assess, diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal, neurological and post-surgical conditions - Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation and exercise plans - Provide manual therapy and electrotherapy as appropriate - Educate patients and caregivers on exercise and injury prevention - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans - Work within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team

Qualifications and requirements - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution - Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council with a valid practising licence - Strong clinical and communication skills - Compassionate, patient-centred approach
