About the role

UMC Victoria Hospital, located at Plot 1495, Kira Road, Bukoto, Kampala, is a growing private healthcare provider. The hospital is seeking a qualified and dedicated Physiotherapist to join its expanding team.

The Physiotherapist will provide professional physiotherapy services to patients, contributing to the hospital's multidisciplinary care approach and supporting positive patient outcomes. The position is full-time.

The successful candidate will assess, treat and support the rehabilitation of patients across a range of conditions, working closely with other clinicians to deliver patient-centred care. The role suits a self-motivated professional who brings strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication and a dedication to quality care in a busy healthcare setting.

Working in both inpatient and outpatient contexts, the Physiotherapist will design and deliver treatment and rehabilitation programmes that respond to each patient's needs, monitor progress, and coordinate with the wider clinical team to ensure continuity of care. Clear communication with patients and their families is essential to supporting long-term recovery and adherence to therapy.

Qualifications and requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution.
• Valid practising licence and registration with the relevant professional body.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in a reputable healthcare facility is an added advantage.
