Medical Officer — Shalom Medical Center

Shalom Medical Center is a growing health facility committed to providing quality, compassionate, and affordable healthcare to our community in Namayingo.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate MEDICAL OFFICER to join our team.

Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat patients in OPD, inpatient, and emergency departments - Conduct ward rounds, clerking, and patient management - Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in emergency care - Supervise nurses, clinical officers, and other health workers - Maintain accurate medical records and compile reports - Promote health education and community outreach

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB/MD) from a recognized institution - Valid registration with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council - At least 1 year working experience preferred, but fresh graduates with internship completion are encouraged to apply - Good clinical skills, teamwork, and patient-centered attitude - Ability to work under pressure and on call
