Up to 120 fully funded two-year master's scholarships under the EAC Scholarship Programme, funded by Germany (KfW). Ugandans study in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and beyond. Deadline: September 10, 2026.

The EAC Scholarship Programme is a regional initiative of the East African Community and the Federal Republic of Germany implemented by IUCEA. The package includes full tuition paid to the host university, return air ticket, EUR 380 monthly stipend, EUR 200 arrival allowance, EUR 650 study materials allowance, EUR 1,500 study/research allowance, medical insurance and visa/entry fees. Applicants must apply for admission to an eligible master's programme at a partner university in another EAC country and submit a complete online application by 10 September 2026, 17:00 EAT. Health sciences and public health fields are eligible disciplines.

Eligibility

Citizens of any of the 8 EAC Partner States (incl. Uganda) under 35 with a Bachelor's degree at Second Class Upper or better, applying for a Master's in another EAC Partner State.

How to apply

Apply for admission to an eligible partner-university master's programme, then complete the online EAC Scholarship Application Form with all supporting documents before 17:00 EAT, 10 Sept 2026.
