Fully funded one-year taught master's scholarships at Oxford covering course fees and living costs plus tailored leadership training and networking. Consideration follows your Oxford course application by its December 2026/January 2027 deadline.

AfOx Graduate Scholarships go beyond fees and maintenance, offering pre-arrival, on-course and alumni support programs. Under the Mastercard Foundation partnership, up to three AfOx scholarships support the Said Business School MBA for 2027/28, while broader AfOx Graduate Scholarships cover eligible taught master's courses across the university. There is no separate scholarship form: candidates submit their graduate application by the earliest course deadline and eligible offer-holders are contacted to complete an AfOx questionnaire, followed by virtual interviews. Ugandan applicants in health policy, global health science, international health and tropical medicine courses have been strong fits historically.

Eligibility

African citizens ordinarily resident in Africa (incl. Uganda) who have not previously studied a master's degree and can demonstrate commitment to Africa's development; priority to historically underrepresented groups such as refugees and disabled students.
