The World Bank Group (WBG) is a global development institution that provides financing, advice, and research to reduce poverty and boost shared prosperity in developing countries. Its Pioneers Internship Program gives students and early-career professionals real project assignments inside WBG's technical and corporate teams.
## About this internship Pioneers interns work on live World Bank Group project assignments alongside teams based in Washington, DC and country offices worldwide, with mentorship from experienced staff and direct exposure to how the institution designs and delivers development projects. It is a paid internship offering a competitive hourly salary. Recruitment runs in two cycles a year, spring/summer and winter/fall.
## Who can apply - Undergraduates in their final year, or postgraduates pursuing a master's degree or PhD - 0 to 6 years of relevant professional experience - Fluent in English - Citizen of a World Bank Group member country - Strong commitment to the WBG's mission and values - May apply to a maximum of three positions per cycle

## How to apply Apply online during one of the two annual recruitment cycles, submitting a CV/resume (maximum 2 pages), a cover letter (maximum 1 page), education transcripts or an enrollment letter, and, for no-fee internships, an official university letter.
