Theatre Assistant

Mildmay Hospital Uganda (MHUg) is seeking highly motivated, results-oriented individuals to join its team, compassionate care, professional excellence, positive impact. MHUg is hiring a Theatre Assistant to support high-quality theatre services, preparing and maintaining the operating theatre, promoting patient safety, managing equipment and supplies, maintaining aseptic standards and accurate records.

Reporting to: Nurse In-Charge (IPD)

Qualifications & Experience - Certificate in Theatre Techniques or an equivalent qualification - Registered and licensed by the relevant professional regulatory body - At least 3 years of experience in a reputable hospital, specifically within an operating theatre environment - Basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS care and management - Proficiency in English and at least one local language - Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and infection prevention standards
