NACNDC & JASH Conference 2026

The NACNDC & JASH Conference 2026 (National Annual Communicable & Non-Communicable Diseases Conference and Joint Annual Scientific Health Conference) is Uganda's Ministry of Health's flagship annual scientific gathering.

## About this conference The conference runs October 28-30, 2026 at Speke Resort Munyonyo, and centres on "unified action against communicable and non-communicable diseases," bringing together research, policy, and cross-sector partnership on Uganda's disease burden. Hon. Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, Minister of Health, is confirmed as chief guest. The conference is organised in partnership with major health agencies including WHO, CDC, UNICEF, the Global Fund, and GAVI, and is one of the largest domestic platforms for Ugandan health leaders, researchers, and implementers to present findings and shape national health policy directly. Because it is held in Uganda and led by the Ministry of Health itself, it is especially accessible for Ugandan health workers who cannot travel internationally.
