Fully-funded Master's in Global Health Delivery at UGHE in Rwanda, open to citizens/residents/refugees of any African country including Uganda (age 35 or under, bachelor's required). Recruits annually; the class-of-2027 window closed 18 January 2026.
The Master of Science in Global Health Delivery (MGHD) is a fully funded degree at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) in Rwanda, offered through the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program.
## About this scholarship UGHE, founded by Partners In Health, trains the next generation of global health leaders from across Africa. The MGHD is a professional Master's covering global health delivery, with four specialization tracks, funded in full for Mastercard Foundation Scholars so cost is not a barrier to outstanding African students.
## Who can apply - Applicants must be residents and citizens of, or hold refugee status in, an African country. - Applicants must be 35 years old or under at the time of application (exceptions apply for applicants with disabilities). - Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in any field; applicants who already hold a Master's degree are not eligible. - Applicants must be proficient enough in English to understand course materials and communicate verbally and in writing. - Applicants choose one of four specializations: Global Surgery, Health Management, One Health, or Social and Community Medicine.
## What it covers - Tuition and academic fees. - Accommodation and meals on campus. - Study materials and a laptop. - Health insurance. - A monthly stipend for personal expenses and transport. - Flights and visa support for international students. - Mentoring and leadership-development support.
## How to apply Applicants complete a single online application with personal, academic and demographic information. Required documents include a passport, national ID or refugee documentation; official transcripts and degree certificate; two recommendation letters; a CV/resume; and a HEC equivalency certificate where applicable.
