ICU Nurse

Founded by Dr. Henry K. Lukwago, the hospital opened in October 2023 as an initial 50-bed modern facility. Our 24/7 Advanced Life Support ICU provides continuous, high-precision monitoring and life-saving medical interventions for critically ill patients around the clock.

Position: ICU Nurse (2 Positions)

Responsibilities: - Monitor critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit - Operate and maintain life support and monitoring equipment - Provide continuous high-precision patient care under the direction of intensivists - Administer critical care medications and IV therapies - Respond rapidly to patient emergencies and code situations - Maintain accurate ICU patient documentation and records - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary critical care team

Requirements: - Diploma or Certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution - Specialized training or certification in Critical Care/ICU nursing - Valid registration and license from Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council - Experience in ICU or critical care setting preferred - Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills - Ability to work under pressure in a high-acuity environment - Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
