Dialysis Nurse

John William Kiggundu (JWK) International Hospital Kakiri is a modern, private healthcare institution established to provide affordable, highly accessible, and premier quality healthcare services to the people of Uganda and the broader East African region.

Founded by Dr. Henry K. Lukwago, the hospital opened in October 2023 as an initial 50-bed modern facility with one of Uganda's largest specialized dialysis centres, initially equipped with 3 high-performance machines with plans to scale to 10.

Position: Dialysis Nurse (1 Position)

Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor dialysis equipment during patient treatments - Provide specialized renal care to patients with kidney conditions - Ensure patient safety and comfort during dialysis procedures - Monitor patient vital signs and respond to complications - Maintain accurate dialysis treatment records and documentation - Educate patients on dialysis care and renal health management

Requirements: - Diploma or Certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution - Specialized training or experience in dialysis/renal care - Valid registration and license from Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council - Experience operating haemodialysis machines - Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills - Ability to respond effectively to dialysis-related emergencies
