ICID 2026 takes place November 10-13, 2026 in Madrid with a One Health lens on clinical infectious diseases and microbiology. Regular registration closes September 30, 2026.
The 21st ICID brings together infectious disease specialists, clinical microbiologists, epidemiologists and public health experts to exchange knowledge across species and specialties under a One Health framework. The programme includes plenaries, symposia, workshops and poster sessions on endemic and epidemic diseases relevant to East Africa. Discounted registration categories exist for LMIC participants (EUR 350 early / EUR 400 regular) and students. Pre-congress workshops cost an additional EUR 100 for LMIC participants; onsite registration remains possible at higher late rates after October 1, 2026.
