Topics include molecular and point-of-care diagnostics, epidemiology and genomic surveillance, host-pathogen interactions, drug discovery, vaccine development, antimicrobial resistance, biosafety/biosecurity and biomanufacturing. Supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI) specifically for African scientists.
