37 new Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters were selected in July 2026 and begin accepting applications autumn 2026 for September 2027 start - including IDOH Next (Infectious Diseases and One Health) among other health-related programmes.

Erasmus Mundus scholarships cover participation costs plus a monthly contribution (~EUR 1,400) and travel/installation support. Most scholarship applications run October 2026-January 2027, but each consortium sets its own deadline; portals for newly selected programmes (e.g., IDOH Next - successor to the well-known IDOH programme with partners Universite de Tours, UAB Barcelona and Hannover Medical School) are being launched progressively. Ugandan graduates in biomedical, veterinary and public health fields are strong candidates for One Health-style programmes. Maximum three EMJM applications per candidate.

Eligibility

Students from any country including Uganda; bachelor's degree (min. 180 ECTS) in a relevant field; English proficiency; Partner-country (non-EU) nationals qualify for full EMJM scholarships.
