Enrolled Nurse (2 positions)

Holy Innocents Children's Hospital (HICH) is a private, not-for-profit paediatric hospital founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Mbarara, providing holistic, quality healthcare to children. HICH is hiring 2 Enrolled Nurses to provide quality nursing care and help implement the hospital's nursing standards, listening to patients, developing treatment plans and coaching junior staff.

Key Responsibilities - Assess patients, record observations, interpret data and take appropriate action - Provide holistic nursing care and apply the nursing process - Promote infection prevention and control practices - Coach and mentor junior Enrolled Nurses - Participate in research for evidence-based practice and implement nursing protocols - Account for supplies and drugs; conduct PHC and health education - Prepare and submit reports; counsel and guide patients

Qualifications - Certificate in Nursing - Registered with the UNMC, holding a valid practicing licence - At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a recognised institution

Key Skills Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong report-writing and interpersonal skills, ICT skills, and high moral integrity.
