Eligibility The scholarship is open to talented individuals from least developed and lower-middle income Commonwealth countries, including Uganda, who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK. Applicants need an upper second-class honours degree (or a lower second-class degree plus a relevant postgraduate qualification), at least one year of professional experience in public health in a low- or middle-income country, and must meet LSHTM's English language requirements (Band B). Relevant professional experience might include work in public health programmes, health facilities, ministries of health, non-governmental organisations or research institutions.
