Fully accredited and chartered by His Excellency the President of Uganda in 2014, the University is located in Mbarara City, Western Uganda. Responsibilities or duties Examination and Diagnosis: Examine, diagnose, and treat patients for common ailments and injuries at the health facility . Treatment and Procedures: Carry out minor surgical procedures and manage medical cases . Patient and Community Health: Guide and counsel patients on health issues, implement preventive health initiatives, and sensitize the community on health matters . Record Keeping and Referral: Collect and compile accurate clinical data, and filter and refer patients to specialized facilities when necessary . Supervision: Supervise and guide junior health workers in the performance of their duties . Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills) Diploma in Clinical Medicine and relevant experience of 4 years. Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
