Lafab Solutions seeks an entry-level Clinic Manager in Kampala to oversee daily clinic operations, staff scheduling and client experience while supporting business growth. No prior experience is required - full training and mentorship are provided.

About the role

Lafab Solutions is looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join its team as a Clinic Manager in Kampala. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven candidate looking to start and grow a career in healthcare and clinic management.

The position is full-time and based in Kampala, Uganda. It is designed for candidates with strong leadership potential who are keen to learn and take initiative, with full on-the-job training provided to help them succeed. No prior management experience is required - the right attitude, willingness to learn and a customer-first mindset matter more than a long CV.

The Clinic Manager is the operational backbone of the clinic, ensuring that daily services run smoothly, patients are well looked after, staff are well coordinated and the clinic continues to grow its client base. Working in a supportive team environment, the successful candidate will receive structured training and mentorship and will have a clear pathway towards a senior management role.

This is a growth-oriented position: the employer is investing in building a future manager, so the emphasis is on attitude, leadership potential and a genuine interest in healthcare and customer service rather than on an extensive professional background.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinic operations and administrative tasks.
  • Manage staff scheduling and support team coordination.
  • Ensure an excellent patient and customer experience.
  • Assist in developing strategies to grow the clinic's client base.
  • Handle basic reporting, stock/inventory and record-keeping.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and staff.

This is a hands-on role covering everything from opening and closing routines and patient flow, to managing supplies, compiling simple reports and supporting the team on the ground. The role offers real variety and gives a driven candidate the chance to take ownership of clinic performance early in their career.

Candidates who succeed in this position tend to be organised, proactive and naturally customer-focused. They enjoy working with people, take pride in a well-run clinic, and are eager to learn the operational and business side of healthcare delivery as they progress toward senior management.

This is an entry-level opportunity to build a career in clinic management within a supportive healthcare business. It is particularly well suited to recent graduates of business-related programmes who are eager to learn, take responsibility early, and grow into a senior leadership role over time.

Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in a relevant course, e.g. business-related courses.
  • No prior experience necessary - full training will be provided.
  • Strong leadership potential with the ability to lead, motivate and grow the clinic.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage day-to-day clinic operations.
  • Customer-service oriented with a professional attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.

What we offer

  • On-the-job training and mentorship.
  • Opportunity for career growth into a senior management role.
  • A supportive team environment.
