RHSP is hiring two Research Assistants for a pilot RCT on home-based PrEP care for rural female sex workers in Kalisizo/Kyotera.

Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP) is seeking two Research Assistants to support a pilot randomized controlled trial evaluating peer-delivered, home-based PrEP care for rural female sex workers.

About the Role The successful candidates will support participant recruitment, screening, informed consent, enrolment, randomization and follow-up, while coordinating home- and clinic-based study activities and supervising Peer Workers delivering home-based PrEP services. The role also covers participant retention and tracing, research data collection, urine sample handling, quality assurance, PrEP commodity monitoring, study documentation, and reporting of adverse events or protocol deviations. Research Assistants will additionally support study budgeting, participant reimbursements, financial accountability and reporting.

Key Responsibilities - Recruit study participants - Supervise Peer Workers - Coordinate PrEP services - Collect research data - Track participant retention

Must Have - Relevant diploma or degree - HIV prevention / PrEP knowledge - Experience working with key populations at elevated risk for HIV - Fluent in English and Luganda - Valid riding permit (regular travel by motorcycle to study communities)

Nice to Have - Prior research data collection experience - Participant interviewing experience - Computer skills - Team supervision experience - PrEP service experience
