PhD & Postdoctoral Research Fellowships - Clinical Trials & Epidemic Preparedness (ACT-PREP)

ACT-PREP is recruiting for 15 PhD and 10 Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Clinical Trials and Epidemic Preparedness and Response (EPR) Research.

The ACT-PREP project aims to strengthen surveillance, ethics, pharmacovigilance, diagnostics and policy foundations within Africa's Emergency Preparedness and Response ecosystem. The ACT-PREP Secretariat, in collaboration with its partners, invites eligible applicants to apply for these fellowships, which are funded under the HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3 programme.

About the fellowships

Twenty-five positions are available in total - 15 PhD research fellowships and 10 postdoctoral research fellowships - all focused on building research capacity in clinical trials and epidemic preparedness and response across Africa. Fellows will work within the ACT-PREP research ecosystem, contributing to work that strengthens how Africa detects, prepares for and responds to epidemics.
