Role Overview & Scope Busy Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Public Health Dental Officer to provide general oral health care, conduct dental examinations, deliver preventive care, and manage routine dental procedures for outpatients in Kayabwe Town Council. Key Responsibilities Clinical Dental Care: Perform oral diagnostics, routine extractions, restorations, and preventive dental treatments. Public & Community Health: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care. Patient & Facility Management: Maintain accurate patient dental records and enforce strict clinical hygiene and infection control standards. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Education: Diploma or Degree in Public Health Dentistry / Dental Assisting / Community Oral Health from a recognized institution. Licensing: Active registration and practicing license with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) or relevant Ugandan medical regulatory body. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a busy medical or dental facility. Competencies: Strong clinical skill set, patient care dedication, and effective communication.
