Pharmacy Technician - Namayirira Pharmacy

Namayirira Pharmacy is now hiring a skilled and reliable Pharmacy Technician to join our team. We are a busy pharmacy committed to serving our community with quality medicines, friendly service and careful attention to detail.

About the role

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, from dispensing medicines to managing stock and educating patients. Working in a fast-paced pharmacy means every day is busy, and your accuracy and organisation make sure nothing goes wrong with a patient's medicines. You will keep the shelves stocked, the records straight and the patients well informed, all while working closely with the rest of the pharmacy team. This role suits a registered pharmacy technician who is organised, trustworthy and used to working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy really matters. You will play a key part in making sure patients get the right medicines, with clear guidance on how to use them safely.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medicines accurately and safely to patients
• Manage inventory and stock levels, and restock in good time
• Educate patients on how to use their medicines correctly
• Keep accurate pharmacy and patient records
• Support the pharmacy team during busy periods and maintain a clean, well organised dispensary

Qualifications and requirements

• Must be registered with the Allied Professionals Council
• At least 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Reliability and the ability to work well within a busy pharmacy team
