Enrolled Nurse - LA' Medics and Diagnostic Center

LA' Medics and Diagnostic Center is a healthcare facility located in the heart of Mbarara City, conveniently positioned between Pelican Hotel and Oxford Hotel. We provide diagnostic and medical care to the people of Mbarara and the wider Western region, and we are committed to delivering friendly, professional and affordable healthcare.

We are looking for a female enrolled nurse aged between 23 and 30 years, with at least one year of nursing experience, to join our clinical team.

About the role

The successful candidate will work within our clinical team to provide quality nursing care to our patients. This is a hands-on clinical role suited to a compassionate and well-organised nurse who enjoys working closely with patients and colleagues in a busy facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients attending the centre
• Assist clinicians with patient assessment, procedures and treatments
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Support infection prevention and control practices within the facility
• Keep the consultation and treatment areas clean, safe and organised
• Communicate with patients warmly and clearly in Runyankore-Rukiga

Qualifications and requirements

• Female, aged between 23 and 30 years
• At least one year of nursing experience
• Certificate or diploma in nursing from a recognised institution
• Must be able to speak and understand Runyankore-Rukiga
• Someone who is already staying in Mbarara is an added advantage

What we offer

• Monthly salary of UGX 350,000
• A lunch allowance of UGX 5,000
