About the clinic

Friends Medicines Clinic serves the Koro community as a busy outpatient facility where nursing is the heartbeat of patient experience — from the first vital sign recorded to wound care and health education at discharge. The team lives by its motto: *"With us life gets better."*

The role

You will be the nurse patients meet first and remember most: triaging, treating and reassuring a steady flow of outpatients in a fast-paced clinic setting, working hand-in-hand with clinicians and pharmacy staff under one roof.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients
• Take and record vital signs
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Perform wound dressing and first aid
• Assist clinicians during examinations and procedures
• Provide health education to patients and families
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports
• Ensure infection prevention and safety standards

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Nursing (Enrolled Nurse level)
• Registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council with a valid practicing licence
• At least 2 years working experience in a busy clinic or health facility
• Good knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, honest and team-oriented
