About the role Community Mobilizers will serve as the link between the clinic and the community, encouraging young people to access family planning and HIV services, supporting enrolment, and promoting healthy behaviours among adolescents and young adults. The role is ideal for energetic, trustworthy individuals who are well known and respected within their communities and who can effectively reach and engage young people.

Key responsibilities - Support family planning and HIV enrolment services for young people aged 15-24 years. - Mobilise community members to access clinic services and health information. - Raise awareness of available health services within the community. - Support young people to enrol in family planning and HIV-related care. - Work closely with clinic staff to reach target communities effectively.

Requirements - Must reside in any of the following areas: Busujja, Nakyerogosa, Kiteredde, Kakiri, Kamuli, Kikandwa, Bukalango, Lugeye, Sentema, Kambe or Kikubampaga. - Must own a smartphone and be able to use it effectively. - Good communication and community mobilisation skills. - A strong commitment to improving the health of young people.

About the clinic Anfaako Nursing Clinic is a community health facility located at Busujja, Kakiri in Wakiso District, providing nursing and clinical services to the surrounding communities. The clinic works with young people and community structures to promote better access to family planning and HIV-related services.

Skills and competencies The ideal candidate will be a well-known and trusted member of the community with the ability to speak confidently to young people and encourage them to take up health services.
