Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity (Next Cycle - Apply Feb 2027)

The Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity (AFHE) program, hosted by the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University, brings together diverse industries and professions that influence health and well-being - art, law, business, academia, medicine, government, journalism, social enterprise, research, media, housing and healthcare delivery.

What the Fellowship Offers: - All educational experiences and travel expenses related to participation covered by the program. - Four in-person convenings throughout the year (approximately a 4-week total time commitment). - An online curriculum including biweekly online classes, individualized coaching, peer mentoring, and team-based learning (12-16 hours per month). - Lifelong membership in the Atlantic Fellows global network across seven programs, connecting 151+ Health Equity Fellows from 35 countries and 6 continents.

Who Should Apply: - Individuals early to mid-career, currently engaged in health-related work, in leadership or with leadership potential. - Those who value diverse perspectives and enjoy working in groups.

Application Components (prepare ahead for the next cycle): - Short answer questions on motivation, communities served, impact to date and a fellowship project proposal (offline worksheet available). - Video responses submitted after written application. - Employer Support Form completed by a direct supervisor, uploaded BEFORE submitting the application. - Two letters of recommendation (at least one from a direct supervisory role). - CV or resume.
