Anzisha Prize / Anzisha Fellowship

## About the opportunity The Anzisha Prize (now running as the Anzisha Fellowship) is Africa's flagship initiative for very young entrepreneurs, backed by a partnership of major African institutions. Since 2011 the movement has supported over 300 young founders from more than 35 African nations, helping them create more than 8,000 jobs. The multi-year Fellowship is designed for young Africans who have already launched a real, operating venture and want to scale it.

## What it offers Fellows receive milestone-based cash stipends tied to business progress (USD 1.5m+ in stipends has been distributed to date), access to a structured digital learning platform, personalised coaching, finance-readiness support, and immersive shadowing experiences with high-performing entrepreneurs. At the end of the second year, Fellows pitch their ventures and compete for a share of a USD 40,000 prize pool across four award categories: Job Creation, Revenue Growth, Storytelling, and Systems of Delivery. Fellows also join an exclusive community of nearly 300 very young entrepreneurs across Africa for peer learning and cross-border expansion.

## Eligibility - Aged 15-22 with a valid National ID or passport - Citizen of an African country (Uganda qualifies) - Already started a business or project - Founder leading the venture - Commit 20+ hours per week to it
