17th ECSACONM Biennial Scientific Conference

The 17th ECSACONM Biennial Scientific Conference & 8th General Assembly is organised by the East, Central and Southern Africa College of Nursing and Midwifery (ECSACONM).

## About this conference The scientific conference runs September 14-16, 2026, followed by the General Assembly on September 17-18, 2026, at the Golden Tulip Zanzibar Resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The theme, "Nurses and Midwives Sustaining Quality Healthcare in a Changing World," covers sub-themes including healthcare access and equity, leadership and policy advocacy, research and innovation, technology integration in nursing and midwifery regulation and practice, and climate resilience. As a regional gathering of the nursing and midwifery college covering East, Central, and Southern Africa, it gives Ugandan nurses and midwives a chance to present research, engage with regional regulatory and policy discussions, and connect with counterparts across ECSA member states.
