Position Overview The facility is urgently seeking a dedicated Female Nurse to manage day-to-day nursing and patient advisory services within a community drug shop in Kyegegwa. The successful candidate will deliver primary care, dispense basic medication under guidelines, offer patient counseling, and communicate effectively with local community members. Key Responsibilities Patient Triage & Care: Assess patient needs, take vital signs, and provide basic primary nursing care and first aid. Medication Administration: Assist in dispensing over-the-counter and prescribed medications while explaining correct dosage and administration instructions. Patient Consultation: Provide clear health advisory and patient counseling in local languages to ensure patient understanding and compliance. Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, stock inventory records, and proper storage conditions for pharmaceutical supplies. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Gender Preference: Female. Education: Certificate or Diploma in Nursing (Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse) from a recognized institution. Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Runyankole, Runyoro, or Rutooro to effectively communicate with local clients. Experience: Prior experience working in a clinic, drug shop, or community pharmacy setting is an added advantage.
