Role overview

The Private Wing seeks three (3) Askaris to keep the hospital's people, vehicles and property safe — locking and patrolling premises, guarding entry points, directing visitors, and reporting incidents.

Duties and responsibilities

a) Check and properly lock premises at the close of the day b) Apprehend and question suspects for proper identification c) Direct visitors to reception for more information d) Report theft cases and prepare reports to the authorities e) Patrol premises to ensure maximum security f) Maintain security of government vehicles and property g) Keep security at important entry points h) Guard against removal of hospital property by unauthorised individuals i) Hoist and lower the National and other flags j) Any other duties as assigned
